who can demonstrate relevant "hands on" experience. If there are no suitable
vacancies at the time, we will file for use in the near future.
Our normal requirements are for the following:
Either MCSE qualified engineers preferably with Exchange as one of the electives
or,
Engineers with strong Unix / Linux skills with appropriate industry qualifications.
Cisco experience and strong interpersonal skills are advantageous in either scenario.

Systems Engineer – South West
We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Engineer to provide remote support to
our nationwide customer base and onsite support to our South West customer base.
The ideal candidate will ideally possess at least 2 years experience maintaining
and supporting servers, networks, PC's and have relevant experience of peripheral
equipment including printers, UPS's, hubs, switches and routers.
Candidates should be experienced with Windows 2003, 2008 with exposure to Exchange
2003/2007 and basic firewall configuration. MCP, MCSA, MCSE and CCNA accreditations
are desirable.
Working closely with our Service Desk, the role will involve responding quickly
and appropriately to reported faults, integrating and installing IT systems, working
confidently on a range of software platforms and operating systems, and helping
to ensure customer satisfaction.

Chris has been with us for 3 weeks and has already demonstrated his IT Sales knowledge by completing and passing the VMWare Sales Professional qualification. Chris will be working within the Matrix team over the coming months to educate companies on all the services Matrix can offer including Cloud Computing, VMWare and our fully managed IT Support packages.
Matrix Retains Microsoft Gold Partner Status

As part of the Trisoft Group, we are delighted to announce we have again retained our Microsoft Gold Partner status.
Demonstrating our on going ability to deliver Microsoft projects, our commitment to training our staff and feedback from our loyal customer base, all provided the base to our renewal. As Microsoft have made the renewal process more stringent this year, we are delighted to again obtain the Gold Partner Status.

Microsoft Certified IT Professionals

Congratulations go to Lee Sweetzer and Clayton Montgomery who have both upgraded their Microsoft accreditations to become Microsoft Certified IT Professionals (MCITP) this week.
This brings the number of MCITP’s in the company to three, again showing our commitment to training our staff with the latest technologies to deliver up to date solutions and support, to our customer base.
