Our normal requirements are for the following:

Either MCSE qualified engineers preferably with Exchange as one of the electives or,
Engineers with strong Unix / Linux skills with appropriate industry qualifications.

Cisco experience and strong interpersonal skills are advantageous in either scenario.

Systems Engineer – South West

We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Engineer to provide remote support to our nationwide customer base and onsite support to our South West customer base.

The ideal candidate will ideally possess at least 2 years experience maintaining and supporting servers, networks, PC's and have relevant experience of peripheral equipment including printers, UPS's, hubs, switches and routers.

Candidates should be experienced with Windows 2003, 2008 with exposure to Exchange 2003/2007 and basic firewall configuration. MCP, MCSA, MCSE and CCNA accreditations are desirable.

Working closely with our Service Desk, the role will involve responding quickly and appropriately to reported faults, integrating and installing IT systems, working confidently on a range of software platforms and operating systems, and helping to ensure customer satisfaction.
